- In keeping with the holiday list issued by the affiliating University,the library remains closed on Sundays and Public holidays.
- Lending facility and reading room facility is available on all working days from 11.00a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
- All the teachers including the librarian and the non-teaching staff are allowed to borrow not more than 5 books for a period of 30 days .If needed ,renewal can be made for additional 15 days.
- Honours students can borrow not more than 2 books at a time for 10 days,which can be renewed for a period of additional 10 days.
- Students of program course can borrow not more than 2 books at a time for 10 days,which can be renewed for a period of additional 10 days.
- The casual students are not allowed to borrow books or to use library reading room.
- Depending on the availability of and demand for the copies of a title ,the librarian will decide weather to allow a student to get a book re-issued from the library.
- Overdue charge for the students is Rs.2 for a single book for each day.
- Journals kept in the library are not to be borrowed by the students and the facalities.They are exclusively for use in the library reading zone.
- Before the commencement of each term-end semester examination,the students have to submit books to library clearance system.
- If lost,the latest edition of the copy of the lost book has to be submitted to the library.
- The Principal and the Librarian hold the right to make exception to the above mentioned rules,if necessary
General Rules
- Use of internet is allowed in the library exclusively for academic purpose.
- Reference books issued for use in the reading zone of the library have to be returned before leaving the library.
- In the library the students will have to carry the ID cards and the Library cards.
- Entering the library,the users have to deposit their personal belonging in a prescribed place and before leaving the library,they have to take those back. The library will not be liable for any damage or loss for the belongings kept in the library.
